Belle wandered through the halls of St. Gregory's, unsure of what exactly to do with herself. She didn't feel like reading, or existing at this moment. All she wanted was to go home to her and Luc's castle and live in peace, but that was impossible. The Homeland was not as lustrous as it once was, all the beauty and magic dissipating before their eyes. Who was to say that it would still be there soon; that any of them could survive without the existence of the Homeland.
She ran her fingers along the graying brick and sighed. Was it worth it? Would they survive in the end? She hated when she had nothing to do. It always worried her like this, especially as the days went on and on.

"Belle?" His voice brutish edge to it, obviously struggling to keep the gruff, deep tone below a dull whisper. A young man dressed in dark blue jeans and a light blue, form fitting jacket with white bands around the left bicep came jogging up from behind her. He had clearly been exerting himself for some time; his jacket was unzipped and the white tanktop underneath had a trail of sweat from his neck down his breast and perspiration beaded on his brow, sticking his chocolate hair in wet ringlets on to his forehead. Yet, his breathing seemed perfectly contained.
He raced up to the aimlessly wandering young woman and took her quickly by her waist. "There you are. I've been looking everywhere for you." His built arms squeezed her tight enough to steal a quick peck on her lips. "Where have you been? I've been looking everywhere..." His arms slid from her, gliding a hand down her arm to lace his fingers with hers.
"Thinking about home again, are we?"

Belle's eyes turned toward the voice calling her name and her heart fluttered. Her love was here, just when she was needing him most, like always. She spun toward him and her pale blue dress twirled with her, the light fabric enjoying the wind generated by her gentle movements. She looked him over as he walked to her, his sweat obvious, like he'd just run a 13k.
She opened herself to him, facing him completely as he walked to her and wrapped an arm around her waist. "I'm so sorry, Love. I didn't worry you, did I?" She hated to worry him, since he had the tendency to over react slightly. She kissed him back for a second and tried to wrap one arm around his waist to pull her body close to his. "I was just wandering..." She hung her head subtly and sighed.
"I miss our beautiful home. This place lacks the wonder, the magic of home."

Whether it be wolves, or herself, the Beast would always be there to rescue her from certain peril. He couldn't help but smile to himself, lost in her dark eyes - she'd saved him just as many times. If not, more.
Luc's callused fingers were careful as they traced under her soft jaw. She was beautiful, and he appreciated the way her figure could model a dress. "Worry? Me? What would ever place such a silly idea in that head of yours?" Truth. He had been a bit worried, but more so he craved her company. Thus, Luc lingered closer by her beckoning arm, placing his hand delicately on the small of her back as they resumed at a casual pace.
"I miss it too. But you shouldn't stress yourself over it, Belle. I'm certain Snow or one of the others will find something out - " He crinkled his nose, frustrated at his limited brain capacity. The Beast quickly inverted it to something more positive, "Or even you. You're always reading... Or. There might be others out there that have already found a way back. The world is so much bigger then what our stories led us to believe.

Sighing then grinning, she looked back up into his eyes. "Yes, you, worry," she said with a light chuckle. She was almost grateful for his worrisome tendencies, it meant that they were never too far apart, which warmed her heart to the core. She lightly rested a hand upon his arm and held herself close to him.
"I'll try not to worry about it too much... I just don't understand what could have happened." She often spent nights worried about it, but tried to remain positive, and the only time she didn't worry too much was when her and Luc shared a bed, and she was cuddled up next to him under his strong arms. She smiled weakly as he suggested she might find a way back. "Perhaps, Luc, but I wouldn't put my hopes into it.."

"I guess we can't really be too sure what happened," He mused after a few moments of shuffling down the hall beside her. "In retrospect, having being brought in to this world and looking down in to ours, there have been stranger things that have happened. Furniture just doesn't talk in this 'Real World'."
Luc nuzzled his face into his shoulder to retire it of sweat. Spasmodically his fingertips crinkled against the side fabrics of her attire. "In any case, I'll make sure there is a happily ever after." He brushed her hair aside and kissed her forehead once more, offering a wolfish grin as compensation for their bane.
"In any case, we can talk about this later. What are your plans for the evening? Some boys would like to teach me how to play rugby." The unusual word tickled his tongue and forced a lopsided little smirk on to his face. "Perhaps I could sneak over after and pay you a visit for the night?" Luc loved nothing more then spending his nights with his love, oftentimes made impossible by the administration constantly patrolling the grounds between Whitman and Dickinson.

Belle sighed and squeezed Luc's hand. "No, it certainly does not. I miss back home. The only reason i survive is because of you" She nuzzled her head against his shoulder and sighed. "I know you will, love. And I'd love nothing more than a happily ever after with you."
She stared at the ground as they strolled along, "No plans. May I come watch you learn?" One of her favorite things in the world was to watch him play games, have fun, be the instinctual being he was, although him reading with her thrilled her in a different way.
She looked up at her love and grinned, nodding. "If you can't its fine, but you know I love when you stay for the night. I always sleep so well." She darted her eyes to the floor for a second before looking up at him again. "Could we maybe read together?" Her favorite part of this silly world had to be the reading material. It was so amazing and there were so many books to read.

“Of course you may,” Luc beamed, “It’s always better with an encouraging audience. And how could I say no to a face like this…? Of course we can read together. ” Blue eyes reverted back to her image and his crackled smile divulged and a bright grin instead smothered his features (which happened to force his eyes to squint whenever he did so). He had quite the powerful laugh, deep and rolling - almost like he was purring.
Failure was almost always eminent in his bouts of good cheer to keep his hands off of her. Roaming hands nuzzled around the pleasant silhouette of her body and levered her up against him. He gave an experimental twirl before lifting her close against him, hooking his one arm carefully around her bottom in a way that both of her legs were tucked under the same arm and the other supporting her back. “You, mon petit jou, are the single best part of this world, or any other world. And if we’re to be stuck here, well. That’s just fine. I have you. ”
Luc wasn’t sure of the last time he told her he loved her. All his hope to convey his message were in moments like these.

Belle let a full blown grin wash over her face and she hugged herself to him tightly. "Thank you, love. I hope you can sneak in tonight. I miss sleeping cuddled into you." It was one of her favorite things to do, and she always slept so soundly in his arms. She nuzzled his chest as he laughed, enjoying every second of the sound. She loved when he laughed, because laughter always bubbled out of her when he did.
"However did I find someone as wonderful as you?" She wondered aloud. She always wondered this, usually not out loud, but she was forever grateful for his undying loyalty and love toward her. And there was nothing more wonderful than to be able to return that love and affection and loyalty.
She grinned as he twirled her and tucked her into his arms. She nuzzled her face into his neck and kissed him gently, "I love you too, sweetheart. You are one of the only things I like about this world, but you are also the only thing keeping me sane while we're stuck here. It's so difficult to be here, and on top of that not being able to sleep with you at night." She kissed him again, nuzzling her nose into his and smiling against his lips.
