OVERALL LOOK //There's something odd in how normal Chester looks. Upon first glance, he looks like just another teenage boy struggling through school, playing sports when he can. Because of playing soccer, Chester has lean muscle built up and although he doesn't look like he can amount to much, he can pack a punch. However, on a closer look, there is a constant mischievous gleam in his eyes with almost a malicious undertone. He doesn't try to hide it since most people never truly notice it. And his smile... Although he only smiles when he's up to something, Chester's smile is the kind that can haunt you in your dreams later on without you even knowing what was going on. He has a creepy charm that isn't commonly seen in young men these days. Well, at least young men from this realm.
Chester isn't a huge fan of fashion. He's got better things to do with his time than try to impress people with the fabrics that grace his body. He does, however, take a particular liking to stripes of any kind and any color, although he likes purple the most. Chester also constantly has an odd look that often reminds people just slightly of a cat and it's not just his mannerisms. It's his slight upturned lips, the slit of his eyes, the lean muscles that just oddly remind people of some sort of cat.

OVERALL PERSONALITY //Chester is just about as cunning as they get. He loves to confuse people and will often bend the truth or mess with a sentence's wording to disguise its true meaning so that others will get confused and stumble into danger. He finds it funny when people can't find their way and often gives them bad directions so that they only get even more lost. If he does give someone a choice between which direction to take, it's just because he can't make up his mind which of the equal evils to direct them towards. Either way, if you encounter Chester while lost, don't even try to get advice from him. Just keep walking and follow your gut feeling instead.
Most people while reading Alice in Wonderland come to believe that Chester, as the Cheshire Cat, had it out for Alice. Although he did point her purposefully towards the Queen of Hearts and almost got Alice decapitated, he actually thought she was somewhat of a charming character and rather cute. But of course, as he always does, he found it more fun to see what kind of trouble he could get her in. Besides, she was the perfect scapegoat. He could do whatever he wanted to the Queen of Hearts, who is extremely uptight and needs to loosen up once in a while and take a joke, and just make it seem like Alice did it. To Chester, pranks come before girls any day.
Chester actually isn't incredibly fond of his human body. He finds it lanky and thinks that it's a ridiculous design for a living being. However, he is incredibly fond of his opposable thumbs. Much of Chester's cat-like mannerisms were brought with him into his new body. He can't resist chasing after balls, much like kittens can't resist a nice ball of yarn. Because of this, he is excellent for soccer and is extremely agile and quick. However, he is easily distracted, except when it comes to playing pranks on other people. Chester also extremely dislikes water and dogs, much like any other cat in this world. There are just some things that never change.

HISTORY // ”The Cheshire Cat is a fictional cat appearing in Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Alice first encounters it at the Duchess's house in her kitchen, and then later outside on the branches of a tree, where it appears and disappears at will, engaging Alice in amusing but sometimes vexing conversation. The cat sometimes raises philosophical points that annoy or baffle Alice. It does, however, appear to cheer her up when it turns up suddenly at the Queen of Hearts' croquet field, and when sentenced to death baffles everyone by making its body disappear, but its head remain visible, sparking a massive argument between the executioner and the King and Queen of Hearts about whether something that does not have a body can indeed be beheaded.
At one point, the cat disappears gradually until nothing is left but its grin, prompting Alice to remark that she has often seen a cat without a grin but never a grin without a cat.[1] It is this unusual disappearing act for which most people remember the Cheshire Cat.”
(Taken from Wikipedia's description of the Cheshire Cat)
Yes, the Chester had his part in getting Alice in trouble. He doesn't deny that. Actually, he's rather proud of his part in the story. Everyone knows Chester with his grin, the one that looks like a sliver of the moon. But what people didn't know is that after Alice left Wonderland, things got boring again. No one was asking him for directions anymore since they all lived there and there was no one around to play with. That left Chester to do... Nothing. That was why he jumped at the chance to ditch his feline body and trade in for a human's in order to have a little fun. Although he's never dealt with the princesses and their like before, they have to be fun. So that's how Chester ended up in St. Gregory's. Don't get lost...
